Roll down all of your driver side windows so the agent can see into the vehicle. The Mexican border agent will usually ask where you are going within Mexico. Just tell them you are going on vacation in Puerto Peñasco. They may ask you to open the back of your vehicle, so they can verify that you aren’t bringing any illegal items into Mexico. They will also randomly select vehicles for luggage inspections. If you are selected, they will have you pull over to the inspection lane. Just be cooperative. It usually only takes a few minutes and you are on your way.
